Measure readiness
The Golf Fitness Handicap
A simple score that shows how prepared your body is — the DRVN Golf Fitness Handicap™ translates physical readiness into a number golfers already understand. Learn it, run the assessment yourself, and keep a log of every retest.
What it shows
Three dimensions of readiness
Physical Capacity
How well the body can move and produce force.
Consistency of Training
Whether the required work is being done reliably.
Readiness for Higher Demand
The ability to tolerate more complex swing and training loads.
A higher handicap signals physical limitations. A lower handicap reflects increasing freedom, durability, and progression potential. Every athlete begins at Handicap 36.
Training cycles
Assess, train, retest, adjust
The system runs in six-week cycles. Progress is recognized only when improvement is verified through reassessment — category advancement stays locked until you retest.
Assess
Establish a baseline through standardized mobility and fitness testing.
Train
Train with a clear focus for the cycle, based on your assessment results.
Retest
Retest mobility and fitness under the same conditions after six weeks.
Adjust
Programming adapts to verified progress — and category advancement unlocks.
Daily scoring
Consistency is the currency
Between formal assessments, the handicap moves on a 72-hour rolling system that rewards showing up. Daily scoring adjusts your handicap within a category; moving between categories still requires a retest.
No activity logged
No training or mobility submitted within 72 hours adds a shot.
Training submitted
Completing and logging a workout removes a shot.
