· auto-generatedHelping you to train biomechanics so your backswing and ball striking is on point this weekend. This three movement set is going to be huge if you want to create better rotation, more ground connection, and then stability through the shot. So, you're going to start out with the swing elevation drill.
We've got a light exercise band here. We're wrapping it under the foot. We're going to rotate up and around the whole body.
You want to counter movement and then up and around and fast. You are going to work both sides of the body and that's going to increase your rotational pattern and give you the awareness of getting tall and increasing that stretch. From there, we'll step straight into a kettlebell single arm swing.
This is about creating unilateral force and stabilizing the body with all of those forces going on. Really fire the glutes and push into the ground. You're going to hit 20 reps there and then we're going to lateral bounds.
Think about how you push off in the golf swing. This is going to get you moving faster and get you working through the ground well. Make sure you jump to a point where you are stable and balanced and then react to change direction.
