· auto-generated[Music] how's it going guys welcome back to the channel fast paced video today guys right we are deep into the app development a couple of little testers out there we are getting really close so it is all day every day however we wanted to get this content out to you as well all right so this is one of the aspects that's going to be in the app and we want to give you an insight into it right now okay so you're going to be able to track your progress for everything actually golf fitness handicap is gonna be pretty awesome and one additional aspect is gonna be tracking your own swing so we wanna talk about some of the main criteria that we look for and I think is the most important aspects in terms of tracking your progress if using a launch monitor all right so we got four really important factors all right you can get deep into the data all right you can go on this forever you can get really into it all right but the four things that I would always pull out in terms of your physical performance and how you can adapt the body is going to be club at speed in the total distance all right kind of goes without saying those two are big factors all right we've been chasing speed for a while and obviously the faster you can swing the more potential power that you have okay total distance you can track that over time we all want to hit it further does to go without saying okay but the other two factors we want to get into a little bit now and the first one is smash factor okay so when you're recording your clubhead speed you also need to be in the middle of the face for it to correlate over to your ball speed okay so that's where your smash factor comes in so whatever the number is you times it times your club at speed by the smash factor to a equal your ball speed okay and I'm hitting a six iron right now to anything around the 1. 4 a little bit over is going to be pretty solid okay guys and we'll show you exactly what the difference is here so obviously as your strike worsens if you hit it right out the toe that smash that is going to go way down okay and as we continue the smash factor will go up and down it's going to be lower with the more loft because basically the ball is naturally going to go up and have less speed off the face when you get to the driver the magic number is 1. 50 okay so smash factor is really important to give you insight into your strike let me show you right now okay so this is a six iron we're gonna take a couple away we're gonna hit this one flush and then we'll show you a bad one as well all right that was pretty good set myself up for that one 1.
44 you can't get much higher with the six iron all right because when there's loft on the face it's always going to be a bit a little bit low all right great ball speed on that one actually I felt pretty good so loading up that trail side you can see the club head speed there 101. 3 so smash factor is 1. 44 obviously your master on point and your ball speed is 145.
7 guys all right so now if I hit one out the toe with similar speed that smash factor is going to go down your ball speed is coming down as well yeah I'm pretty good at this it's not too bad eh so club speed came down a little bit that's because I was trying to make it bad but 99. 2 the smash factor goes down to one two eight and that ball speed goes down to one two seven okay so smash factor is an incredible way to track your actual quality of strike okay you want to maintain all the way through add speed to your swing maintain your smash factor the ball's going faster the ball is going further relative relativity spin launch all that good stuff guys all right and the other thing the final factor you want to look at is going to be your swing path okay how the club travels through the ball okay so that's going to define its trajectory that's going to define your ball flight itself okay so to be the simplest way possible if we swing from into out with a closed face relative to the path we're going to see the ball turn right to left for the rounded golfer if we swing out to win across the ball and leave the face open to the path we're gonna see the ball turn left to right okay let's draw that's feared that's really up to you obviously if we hit a draw we can probably get a little bit more distance out of it however if you want to control the ball hit that flight with a little cut then we take it in the other way all right so let me see if I can execute on these two for you okay so what you're aiming for is the club to hit a draw I will go for a big draw to guarantee we want the club to work from into out so that number is going to be positive the face will then be close to the path probably slightly open to the target and that's going to give us an optimal flight okay so let's sling one out there I should turn so there we can see club 8. 6 degrees 8.
6 positive that's from the inside that means the ball can start right of target because the face is then aiming more towards the target we had some spin that is a draw shot guys all right pretty simple you also see my attack angle was not very descending there generally that will correlate for the most part if you're hitting the draw you're gonna be able to start it further to the right you're gonna be a little shallow okay so if we go the other way and we get a negative club path may turn a neutral face up into the path we're gonna see that fit well I'm probably more comfortable hitting a draw and a fade in here guys right but you get the point okay so we then go all the way across to 6. 2 negative and if you look at the start line on the ball my face was too up okay so instead of being closer to the path and open up into the path close to the target somewhere in the middle what we saw there was that the face was probably open to the target as well so it starts on the target and it's gone it's gone guys all right so attack angle goes further down and then we get that spin all right so yeah that was a little wild from fear but it's all good okay and in terms of hitting those two shots really physically you got to focus in on your shoulder plane the alignment of your shoulders at impact if we get the club working from behind our body with a closed face and then hard release around the ball that's the simple way to draw and then the other way to hit the fade it's going to be that weaker grip let the club stand up and then really feel as though the body leads the right hand isn't going to overtake the left anything like this quickly and that keeps our face up okay so that's diving into a bunch of stuff really quick but again if you're going to track your progress on a launch monitor the things I always look for club head speed total distance smash factor and swing path all right guys so you're gonna be able to track that in the new app it's gonna give you a great insight into the performance of your game itself which alongside all the performance tracking with the fitness your mobility and all the assessments you're going to be able to correlate exactly where the improvements are coming from and then keep it going guys all right keep it going so you know we're still chasing some speed a couple of good sync signs I'm gonna fire a couple of drivers see where the game's at [Music] hey [Music] all right guys driving still frustrating but to be honest mine's elsewhere right now we are grinding every day on this app it's going to be amazing guys all right we're going to work on it we're going to get it out as soon as we can it's going to drop by the end of the year let's keep working on all right late night early mornings hey a couple of three thirties but the ball speeds way down whatever time to do the work but we gotta prioritize all right guys so lots of things to take into account here if you are getting on track man now that it's still a different time of the year track your data let's get it in the app when you can do and let's continue to progress guys all right I need to freshen up I've been saying that for a little while but the fox is the app right now okay guys so if you haven't got the current app do so know that the new one's coming subscribe to the channel and keep putting that word guys all right two golf [Music] me [Music]
