Good workout yeah that's pretty good I'm excited for you to open your new clubs that's it so hit that workout full video coming at you but now soon I've been waiting for a little while you saw before I tried out the artisan wedges but I hooked me up where they come from texas my home state homestead it has been asked before so yeah pretty stoked on the opportunity got a full set of custom arts and wedges I've managed to have the box for a couple of hours and not rip it open so I'm ready to go now there we go then yeah let's go check him out here we go well nicely packaged check him out guys so we got special golf ball coloring I got my initials on one only on the one nice you know as all golfers you gotta get at least one clubbing name on it at some point we are like that but we've got a couple other cool ones going on so 60 degree 60 degree lob wedge we've got the dual saw kind of tiger style that's pretty sweet number two got a 56 degree sand wedge both that's pretty sweet so both that's what little lauren calls golf she loves it man she cranks around again swinging the club just shouting I play ball that's what it's all about right here and then we got the 50 degree yeah man that's sweet so hard work pays off there we go damn yeah sorry matt I keep trying to think of something else man but you kind of nailed it there buddy so in terms of shafts 50 degree it's got the project ls so a little bit this is my iron shaft I like that in the 50 just gives me that nice crossover and then eating 56 and 60 taurus us 400 it's the wet shower is what it's all about so I mean first time I've had a fresh set of grooves in a long time and they're pretty sweet can't wait to test them out guys all right I might I might not hit him I might just keep him and look at him [Music] yeah it's pretty cool so you see here one thing I said big shout out to first of all artisan I mean that's pretty damn cool right there you get your own serial number so if I want to refresh these heads they know exactly what they need to do they check the records dial it up all right big shout out to roc golf as well so they were the guys who helped me out in first place gave me the opportunity to test out the artisan wedges and then got me the hook up with these guys so pretty stoked and we're gonna go play some golf so we're gonna go hit the cars gonna take some divots and we're gonna work through I'm gonna talk to talk to you about three of my favorite shots how I play them and how these wedges come into them every time you drive you drop oh yeah every time you drive you're eating yeah I'm busy I was eating sushi [Music] first hit with the I new club of bad about it sat there which one is that 56 degree wedge going in the first half yep about 100 yards downhill right about 110 downhill just a solid sandwich so everyone's favorite shot with the two iron two iron stinger this is it's probably my best shot right now as well actually so the short t is a good idea I'm taking off the decks pretty hard car as well so with this shot this is my go-to especially playing in england conditions get a little windy you need some control so we're going to talk about the full drive shortly but when I need to hit the fairway this is my shot so if I'm going to fly it down a little bit burger's pretty much the center of the stance instead of slightly more towards the lead foot I'm going to go about an inch down the shaft and the thing for me I still want to transfer my weight I still want to use the ground properly but I want my hands to be really quiet the less release the less speed with my hands the more I can just de-loft it I kind of soften the blower whilst keeping the speed up just out there real nice pretty good that's pretty good the new which degree which wedge is that love witch so 60 degree wedge bunker player oh not bad for our first use yeah man I've gone pretty close to my not like we available two iron that's the fairway finder that's not guaranteed but it's as close as I'm getting so on the other side of that when you've got a little space you've got a long hole then you've got full send with the driver so I mean I've kind of seen I've always talked about if you're hitting driver you gotta be hitting driving you're not really looking to place it anywhere you want to be committed you want to go all out all right so obviously that doesn't mean to swing so hard you're gonna lose your balance but be committed to hitting a long drive that's why you got the driver in your hands so a couple of things for me with this shot number one tee it up and then from there during the swing I really like to set up with my trail shoulder lower get set into that launch angle just so you know that you're going to fully commit to it and during the swing it's really just a combination making full turn going back and loading up my right glue that's how I'm thinking about it right now so when I turn back I'm making a big turn but the right glue is fully loaded that's where the pressure is that's where I can jump out of it that's where I'm loading up so from there turn through as hard as you want watch it go all right nice okay properly straight we got our one strip it's always nice but yeah full commitment full load going back and just send it so two iron off the tee yeah on to the next shot what you're gonna play so trying to set up the third shot which is kind of how I play most of my approach shots so anything in terms of short irons mid irons we're looking at the three-quarter knock-down just a little bit of cut so basically all about controlling flight and strike this is it so about 120 wins off the left first shot from my 50 degree hard work pays off you know that's true but again with this shot it's almost played similar to the two iron stinger ball goes back just a very small amount the hands soften off and what you'll find is that instead of a big fast follow-through which I tend to find adds as loft and spin and that's going to take away from me far from your control so I'm trying to stay over the ball chest down really compress the ball extend forwards and then just soften up okay so no I didn't I'm not adding on any unnecessary speed just controlling flight controlling spin and then I can control the distance as well pretty good pin high again just soften the arms compress through I always can just bring the flight down the more lost the more loft you've got the straighter it's going to go so if I do that same kind of shot with a seven iron something a little less loft that's where you're going to see just a little bit more fade but compress it control the flight then you kill some more greens so finishing off the seventh hole now yeah gonna stay on a day of practice so got the session in this morning in the gym play a few more holes now hopefully get some more time in but got some business as well I got a strength session coming up but in terms of the game obviously new wedges are perfect loving everything about those so extra little bit of motivation to work on the short game even more and then you got those three shots those are my three stock shots that's what gets me around the cost I'm comfortable playing other shots as well the ball hit it high whatever but understanding your own game having those shots that you can go back to have confidence in it's gonna help out tremendously all right so you'll see that with the best players you've seen that with me today so you got the two iron stinger hit the fail you got the long drive when you are sending it send it and then you got that controlled approach meaning that when you do hit the fairway whenever you're hitting the green you know exactly how you're going to play it in there so now be confident commit to the shot do the work we'll take that
