This one movement will help you create a more balanced rotation for your golf swing the split stance Archer rotation requires you to open up the hips and balance asymmetrically in the lower body and then really rotate around the spine through the thoracic area that so many golfers struggle with you can start just simply with a bodywear exercise so balance create that neutral spine hands are in front and then you're going to peel the arm back as close to your body as possible work out to that full rotational pattern and bring it back in make sure that control is there and always work both sides you can also increase the difficulty with the band in the same kneeling position or go to an elevated split stats in doing so we make it a little bit more difficult on the hips we get a little bit more of a stretch we have to work into that posture and then work through that same pattern so as we get set hands together stretch the band back and work in control obviously the band's going to want to move you quicker but we want to control that inward phase so you can control your movement patterns when you work on this consistently you will be able to feel the ground better and access the hips in your swing plus you'll increase the rotation around the spine giving you a greater golf swing potential and you're going to play some better golf
