· auto-generatedWhat's going on guys right here we have two of my favorite hip mobility exercises and you know how important that is guys all right having a good connection between your upper and lower body good hinge pads lower back core it's all included in how well you function around the hip area and it's a huge area of importance for me as I continue a little better with my movement and obviously you can add these in too so number one is going to be the angled hip opener steps okay so scott simmons this one up you need to plug in a balance and whenever you do this always be aware of your overall body position so you never want to be losing spine opposition once they're neutral [Music] step back go to about 45 degrees stepping lean back up and back in 45 back in 90. So whilst working through that range obviously you're opening the head you're getting your rotation through there and then you're taking it to an extended range of motion to get deep into those hips guys all right that's an excellent way to get warmed up for your game as well that really will help out it's nice and dynamic I would advise you obviously do both sides there's not really a limit just spend a decent bit of time on there be very aware of your movement your feel and how you're allowing your breathing to increase your range of motion as well okay second one let's say this was a little bit more pf staff so you're working against a solid force to basically create some realignment of your hips now if you can have somebody else do this for you obviously your therapist etc that's perfect I have that pen often but you can do it on your own as well all right so it's gonna be a push pull and basically by be creating the different forces you're just trying to realign your pelvis a little bit get everything in line a little bit of function around the hip flexors as well and this just solidifies the joint and hopefully gives you more aligned access to be more efficient more functional and a better place for everything else as you go forwards all right so you know bring your knees up to 90. One side you're going to push so the other side you're going to pull so underneath onto your hamstring and at this point you're trying to put as much force as possible whilst keeping a neutral call on the neutral spine [Music] you can feel it working and you can see the obviously swap round do the other side but with one leg trying to go forwards the other one trying to come back towards your body the pelvis is working hard different levels of activation through the hips different sides and for me that is really important for my overall health and stability at the hip combine those two and you can definitely get yourself in a better position for better movement quality and longevity okay so add those two in before rounds on an even wherever you can get them done continue to mix up your mobility work with static dynamic and all of the other tyre styles of mobility we'll keep putting out for you guys right these two for the hips get it done
