The majority of golfers don't warm up. The best players in the world have strict routines for the body, for the mind, and for the game to be in the best shape possible to scoot to shoot a great score. So, today we're giving you exactly what you need with a simple 20-minute pre-game workout to be ready to play your best golf.

Because honestly, a couple of these stretches on the first tee and then standing over that ball, you're very unlikely to feel confident, to feel ready, and to actually hit a good shot. So, this simple workout gives you everything you need to be fully ready to go. Into the training and we have three simple combinations that are primed to help you with your golf swing performance.

We are focusing on rotation, activating the big muscles, and priming your biomechanics for speed, power, and consistency. The first combination is three sets of 10 lunge with rotation and 10 swing elevation drill. Now, we work both sides of the body and starting with the lunge to rotation, this is about creating that lower body activation through the big muscles, the quads, the glutes, really firing up and using the ground force stability.

This is how we push out of the ground, stabilize the whole body, and create force. We match that with a swing elevation drill with a light to mid resistance band. This is incredible to get you to an into an awesome backswing position, creating height, rotation, and loading as you stretch the band on both sides of the body.

Remember, that is always important, it helps you perform better, and reduces any injury potential. So, we hit three sets, 10 and 10, five on each side, minimal rest, keep it fluid, keep it flowing, and allow your intensity to build as you work through these exercises. The next combination, we start to work into your ground forces and the impact position.

So, we use the lateral bounds and impact swings, okay? Same setup, super simple, easy to execute, and awesome for your game. So, with the lateral bounds, we are focusing on foot mechanics, how you push out of the ground, and balance.

What we really want you to focus on is when we you push against the ground, you manage your center of mass over the leg that's doing the work, and then change direction. This is huge for your golf swing because this is what we are trying to do. We're not trying to sway, we're not trying to go too much lateral, we're trying to manage those pressure shifts, and always stay in control of your center of mass.

10 reps, five in each direction, straight into 10 reps on the impact swings. You can use the same band, potentially a little bit stronger in resistance. We're going to hit five on each side, starting in your golf posture, push into the ground, fire the hips, fire the glutes, and then transferring energy through the core, stretch that band into an incredible impact position.

All right, this not only builds up all the function of the muscles, gets everything firing and engaged, it also gives you incredible awareness of your positioning through the swing, connecting mind to body, and allowing you to put more performance and more power into the ball with less effort. Our final set is about upper body power output and the final piece of your sequence, the actual hit, okay? So, we're really focusing in on the upper body.

We've worked on the lower, we've gone through the core, we've built your rotation, and now this is about sequencing and speed through stability. So, we start with shoulder taps. Super simple movement, incredible for the core, and engaging the upper body.

You want to resist as much movement through the torso as possible as you touch the opposing side, and always stay in balance and fluidity. Stabilizes the joint and gets you in a really solid position. We're going to match that with a highly dynamic, full speed, step to rotational press.

Now, here, we really want to start with our feet together, step into your golf posture, fire the hips, and then finally, full speed, full send, fire through with the upper body. The correlation of upper body power output to distance is very clear, which is why we finish here because this is going to allow you to sequence and apply speed with maximal intent. That's how you take it to the course.

That's how you take it to the game, and that is how you see incredible results when you go to play. Now, this is a simple pre-game workout. You can do this in 20 minutes or less.

You can build up intensity all the way through. It's not about fatigue. This is about activation and really priming you for performance.

So, each set, three sets of two exercises, 10 reps of each, splitting on each side, you'll be more than ready to go. And when you do this workout before you go to the course, you're going to feel incredible. You're going to feel as though you have flexibility, speed, and balance, so that when you make a golf swing, the body responds in the way that you want it to.

However, this is also a great golf workout for any time during the week to improve balance, rotation, speed, and overall control of movement, so that you actually feel better every time you make a swing.
