Oh yeah, dude. Like this is the fastest thing. I want you to rip that grip apart.

Here we are in my studio in Munich. I flew in Michael all the way from Pucklington, England to push his club head speed to 130 mph and his ball speed to hopefully 190 mph. I have some ideas in my head to really make him swing faster.

So, let's see if we can make it happen. So, I loaded up his swing in the X View app and I mean it's a it's it's a good swing. He's he's got a beautiful golf swing.

So, here I've I've done the contouring around his body and we see him shift away from the golf ball to his trail side a little bit, but now he's already taken away the club with his big move. So, I would separate the two even more and make sure he moves up to about here before he's taken away the club. And also do it in a little bit more aggressive way if that makes sense.

And here he is. Here's Michael from Pucklington, England, all the way to Munich, Germany. And we put one fiducial right in the middle of the club face of this driver.

This is where it's going to measure the speed. Do you think you can reach 130 today? >> I think we need a couple of warm-up swings, but that's what we're here for.

So, let's see where we can go. Huh. That's pretty good.

123 180 almost. >> I hit that pretty well. It's >> pretty good.

Actually, what's actually super important in these speed sessions is I always want to get all the attention away from hitting straight shots. So, the tracer is turned off. The only focus is club head speed and ball speed.

82 125. Very much looks like hit one more but very much looks like that's pretty much your baseline like the 125 26ish low 180s that's pretty much where I've seen you in all these videos >> what are we going to do about it >> and now the question is what are we going to do about it so now the very first bit I want to do with him is change and improve a little bit of his mechanics so a more pronounced shift off the ball more aggressive shift off the ball maybe with a little bit of a trigger move to that lead side before he shifts away from the ball and then load up. So, Michael, what we want to do is in the back swing, >> we want to prime that back swing with a little bit more motion as you set up to the golf ball.

So, I really want you to bounce left and right, apply a little bit of pressure into that lead foot as well to then shift off the ball hard before you take away the club and at the same time move up in the back swing. He can help moving up your body in the back swing, raising that center of mass by lifting your left heel off the ground. Okay, so maybe that's a cool combination for you.

So it's left and right and left and right and aggressive shift and up. >> Okay, >> so that's what it's about. Okay, so take a practice swing, do that in a at a practice swing like shift left and right and left and right and now aggressive shift off the ball and up.

Yeah, right there. That's where we want to be. All right.

Hey, 130. >> Okay. First goal accomplished.

130 mph club head speed. Okay. Now, all we got to do is we got to make good contact to break through the 190 barrier as well.

Okay. All right. Now, take a micro break.

This was a lot of hitting. So now you got to give yourself and your body especially a little bit of room to recover, replenish all the cells and then go at it again. Okay.

What we could do too, I don't know if you're the type of guy for this, but we could like pump some music. That's what I would do to get really aggressive with it. Okay.

Pump some music and really get going. How does the upload move feel like? >> That feels good.

I feel like I'm aggressive here. I don't feel like I'm getting back to the lead side as well as I could be. I feel like it's a bit across if you want to keep it on the top.

>> So, one really good cue for that actually is you're up at the top. You're patient now. Now, use the ground like a trampoline.

>> Okay. So, feel like there's a mini trampoline underneath your lead foot only the lead foot. And you're going to bounce off of it.

Okay. Bounce >> that way. So, it's so the trampoline is almost at an angle.

>> Okay. So, you're going to be like boom. >> You didn't load up as much.

>> No, >> I like I like I like the 20. I like the 27. 9.

It's all good. But now you were so focused on the trampoline. You didn't go up.

So, you got to go back to increasing the potential. Okay. We need the potential up here to really hit the trampoline.

Okay. Left foot up to then go down. Left heel up.

Enter our body up. Patience to then go down. It's a sequence.

>> Oh, I LIKE THAT A LOT. >> I LIKE THAT A LOT. >> Almost 131 and we're so close to breaking 190.

How did that feel? >> It's good. I figured it out a little.

The club was moving too fast. >> Which one? Like the at the very beginning.

>> Yeah. >> Okay. >> You said right from the beginning, right?

>> Yeah. >> Everything goes at once. >> Shift angle.

>> Okay. Shift first. Swift.

>> Swift. Not fast. Don't rush it.

You can definitely rush it. Be aggressive with it with authority. I like to call it like that takeaway.

It's got to be swift and with authority. We don't want to go low and slow, but also we don't want to rush it. If you felt rushed, okay, slow it down a little bit.

>> Yeah, that was flush, man. Flush. Let's keep going.

>> Both goals achieved. How far can we push it? Let's go.

Woo! Woo! >> Oh, dude.

>> Come on. >> Let's go. You know what I like most about this?

What's that? >> You're not happy with that. You're so disappointed because you didn't break 190, right?

>> Yeah. >> Because slow like in no time once you've reached that like it's it's disappointing to disappoint to be at that speed, right? It's so crazy to me.

>> Like come on, let's go. >> Ah, yeah. Ah, only 131.

3. Ah, only 188. Well, expectations change quickly.

>> 32. Let's go. Keep going.

Keep going. >> Keep going. >> Still getting faster.

Let's go. >> Oh yeah, dude. Like this is THE FASTEST SPEED.

>> LET'S GO. Can we push 95? >> Yeah, >> let's push 95.

Let's go. Come on. 33 around at 33.

Let's freaking go, dude. Hey, his speed is still climbing. One more time.

Raise it up. And then on the way down, I want you like right here as you initiate down swing, I want you to rip that grip apart. Let's go.

Okay, I told you to like grip the grip apart. But I didn't mean it like literally. It's like just like I wanted you to use a feel but not to exactly do that.

>> It's good though. I mean 93. 7 I >> I mean does that make me a long driver?

Huh? >> I think it does. So do you want to use the long drive club?

>> do you want to try that one? >> Yeah, just try it. I mean go try it.

>> Sorry. Sorry. TPT.

It's okay. It's only 850 bucks. >> Okay, ready.

I got to turn off the music. Okay. 750 * 2 = 1,500.

Okay. Oh, yeah. But 196.

2. I know there was a little bit of cheating involved because the club was a little longer. It was not illegal.

It's still it's still a conforming shaft, conforming club. Everything's totally conforming. But what we usually see, the more we increase club length, the faster we're going to swing it.

So,, >> okay. I'm a little shocked you actually did that twice in a row. >> But at the same time, >> good job.

>> Well, it was >> I appreciate it. >> It was good. We I mean we were pushing 130 190 and eventually in just one swing with a long club we were at 135 196 with a short one 194 134 which is really good.

>> That was a good session man. >> How did you feel like during the session? >> I felt pretty good to get pumped up, get a couple of movements in there.

Got the body going good and then once you find the middle that's when it feels good, man. >> Exactly. It's like this is what we usually see.

The more you switch up mechanics in the very beginning, the more you're gonna struggle to find the phase in the very beginning. But the more reps you put in, the better you found the phase, the more ball speed you were going to generate. So it was like this was impressive to see.

And actually, this is what you usually see when you work with better players. I mean, obviously Michael is a really good golfer as well, so he can figure it out within a couple swings. For other amateurs, this might take a week or two, but in essence, everything we do in long drive can also make sense for golf.

It's just a matter of how you apply it and to what extent. >> Well, thank you for so much for having me out here. >> Thank you for breaking my shaft.

>> I'm sorry you don't have a driver.
