Asymmetrical loading, that's when one side of the body is working and one is stabilizing. It's huge for golfers. What we're trying to do here is build awareness, build stability, and help you to always be in a good position, whether you're in the gym or on the course.

In this set, we're working the upper body and the core. First of all, we're using a dumbbell. We've got three sets of 20 reps of on the rotational chop.

This really is strengthening all the muscles in the core. You're increasing stability here and also understanding your center of gravity. And you're going to match that up with the split stance press.

Now, with the weight on one side, you are actively working against that loss of position. So, you're creating that anti-rotation. Here, we stabilize, engage the core, and then press through a full range of motion.

In our performance level, we go from the stability of the dumbbell to explosive reps with the landmine. We've got four sets, 10 reps each movement, five on each side of the body. We're starting with tall rotations.

This is huge for your center of mass, understanding how to rotate, and pressure in the ground through your footwork in the gym and in your golf swing. Once you've hit your 10 reps, we're going to super set that with the rotational push press. This takes that pressure, gets you using the ground better, and phases you through the hips into the upper body for maximal power output.

So, when you train asymmetrically in the gym, your golf swing is going to be more stable, more durable, and you're going to see less inefficient movement like the sweep. So, you can get faster
