[Music] all right guys what's going on today we are into hybrid strength okay so we've already mobilized got the body fired up and time to deadlift all right first of all a little bit about the hybrid strength program we've got a new version coming with the new app and it's exactly what it sounds like guys we're working on functional strength we're going to improve your rotational capacity your speed and your power whilst adding strength to your compound lifts into your body as a whole guys all right this is one of my favorite programs this is how I train on the daily and it's pretty awesome all right so we're gonna go six by two on the deadlifts using the new app checking it out have a little look guys all right we're gonna go six by two so when we go into a six by two your first working set is gonna be around eighty percent okay so that means as you're warming up hit reps plenty of volume make sure the body's fired up once you get to about 80 effort or 80 percent of your two remax those are you starting reps guys all right so I'm going to get loose I'm here moving let's move some weight [Music] so [Music] so [Music] all right guys deadlifts done so obviously baseline strength is always a huge factor okay that is the foundation of your movement your power your speed your golf swing you need to have a good level of strength for a bunch of reasons okay but we call this hybrid strength because we're going to turn that strength straight into performance okay that's what we're going to do now so we're going to go into a power set all right much more focus on speed and execution as opposed to load okay we're going to go into the sumo deadlift hypo so obviously we're still hinging we're taking the basics from the deadlift and putting it into a longer range of motion with more speed and more force creation over a longer period of time much less weight it's a higher volume okay we're gonna match that up with some overhead work all right the power jerks balance it out full body dynamic force creation and then we finish out with our core condition at the end adding the rotation those are the golf games guys all right so let me put these weights away and there's four rounds okay see my deadlift hypo power jacks [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] all right guys finishing out today we are hitting up some cars from conditioning all right so it's a big stack day of lifting and what we are looking for that strength adaptation we don't necessarily want to burn out too much at the end of the session all right so throughout hybrid strength there will be some full-on workouts functional style there'll be some conditioning maybe some car work there's some days where you just do a bit of bodybuilding to finish guys right that's why it's hybrid strength so again all about those adaptations what we're going to do here we went from strength to power and speed now core and rotation all right so that's how we transfer it straight into the game we're increasing our strength but we're also learning different pathways I've had to take into performance all right so things like the banded reverse lunge into crossover we've got russian twists we've got the car pulled down bit of conditioning perfect way to finish that session guys all right so I'm gonna get this done try this workout all right check out the full program nine weeks all focused in we know exactly what we're trying to do over those nine weeks periodized it's gonna help you give it's gonna help your body guys all right so check out the whole platform make sure you subscribe tell your friends turn the strongest movement in golf guys all right time to finish this up [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] you
