· auto-generatedOkay guys today we are gonna gain you 20 yards fast [Music] how we're going to do that we're going to combine stability with force creation and sequencing okay guys three movements that are gonna directly transfer to your golf swing and that is gonna help you generate more speed more distance and therefore you can play some better golf okay so how is it 20 yards well from working with countless golfers we see that each of these movements can easily add two to three miles an hour of club head speed based on progressions okay guys now if you could continue to hit the middle each time each mile an hour of puppet speed is going to equate to around two to three miles an hour ball speed and that's gonna take over to that distance guys all right so we need to launch it into orbit so we can feel good off the tee guys right and the best thing these three movements can be done by any golfer with minimal equipment all right let's get into it factor number one is going to be stability and for this you're going to need a kettlebell and we're going to use that for the rotational kettlebell swing now this is going to strengthen your core improve your rotation and your control of that rotation as well as your ground force development and overall stability okay because you use an external load you're having to work hard to maintain position and that's how we get stable okay so always work both sides and you are looking to use your hips and your lower body extremely efficiently okay guys so you're going to rotate the hips just like you do in the swing to push against the ground turn extend and then elevate that kettlebell okay so start light make sure you maintain that neutral spine and use that rotational pattern all the way through and this transfers to your swing because all of those things directly transfer to your swing guys right this one is quite easy to see we're loading the body we're trying to work the joints to full range of motion and staying incredibly stable so our efficiency our consistency and our performance are all going up on the course and in the gym factor number two is going to be correct ground force development now every action has an equal and opposite reaction so what we're trying to do is push into the ground to create speed out of the ground okay we're going to use the lateral bound so again this can be done by pretty much any level just travel further and be more dynamic as you improve guys right very simply you're going to maintain your center of mass inside of your hips you're going to work laterally making sure that as you hit the ground you fully load the foot against the ground use that pressure use your mass to work against it and then react in the opposite direction now you need lateral forces in the swing and that is what we're developing here because you're going to improve your speed and the force creation every single rep okay guys so make sure your footwork is super solid and then this transfers directly to your swing because as we then rotate maintaining our center of gravity making sure we don't swear at all in the swing we can then push against the ground create that force and then work in the opposite direction and it helps to work both sides because as you then change direction you're going to push off your trail foot but you're also looking to push off the lead foot get that vertical extension so again the power trifecta of rotation lateral and vertical and that is where the force creation really delivers on your swing speed [Applause] factor number three is going to be kinematic sequencing this is how you move your body in order to be massively efficient consistent and develop maximal speed guys right we're going to use a step to rotational press okay one of our favorite banded movements the band allows us to create variable tension and the external feedback to work against so we can max out our speed profiles okay guys and this one again the sequence is key so you can start with your feet together core tight neutral spine always work both sides guys right you need to equal out the performance profile and start with the feet together you're going to step out into your golf posture as you do so load that front foot turn the hips and allow the torso to continue that momentum all right so it starts with the lower body goes through the hips then the torso opens up to the target and then that trail arm is going to punch through with maximal speed guys right that's the sequence from the ground up to the extremity that is how we get it done guys all right so where both sides we super aggressive move with intent and this transfers to your swing because the kinematic sequence is how you deliver the club head guys right it's exactly the same motion we use the lower body we fire the hips we turn the upper body to the target and deliver the club head with maximal consistency and power guys all right so building up these physical sequences is how you become an athletic golfer and deliver on the course three movements to improve stability force creation and sequencing guys all right as we said this gets it done if you want a sample workout either add this to your current training or before you go play it would be an incredible way go six rounds rest is needed at the top of the round 18 rotational kettlebell swings 12 lateral bounds and six step to rotational press all right hit the movements back to back take 60 seconds rest you got yourself a nice golf hit and that is where the gains are at guys right if you want more this is how we train this is what we do and this is why thousands of golfers around the world are improving their performance and golfing strong okay that's all in the golfboard app you get
