· auto-generatedTour level golf Fitness and performance is right here [Music] [Applause] this is level three of the TaylorMade winter workout series and we're going directly to the golf hot app for today's performance workout level one with zero equipment and we got you moving it's a great place to start your golf fitness journey and that was a nice test level two we brought in some equipment loaded the body showed you how to improve your game in various different ways including asymmetry speed and rotation there we go into our top level of programming which is focused strength and conditioning and you know in Winter we're going to be making some gains guys right it's a great time to allow adaptation in your body and then build it into power and speed next year so that your golf goes to the next level time to hit the workout let's to start today's workout we have three rounds of rotational focus and we are going to have two movements to do so movement number one is the dumbbell snatch this is an asymmetrical movement requiring the whole body to work in sequence and build unilateral stability which fuses directly into your swing hinge at the hip keep your chest over the dumbbell and as you push into the ground raise to the hip extend shrug and finish out overhead moving fast and with excellent form throughout you're going to combine that with movement number two of up and over med ball slams this is about footwork rotation around the spine and the ability to create force on both sides of the body so that we strengthen the swing in terms of acceleration and deceleration so that we absolutely do increase your performance so step one is going to help you move faster improve your rotation and improve your swing it's also going to get the body fired up hips moving posterior chain active which alongside your thorough warm-up leads us into our deadlift strength set so here you can use whichever deadlift variation you prefer and can execute with awesome form guys right we're going with the conventional barbell deadlift and we are looking at strength reps throughout so hit your percentages hit the rep scheme and in terms of movement Focus we are looking to stand close to the barbell get really close so you maintain a straight bar path that is close to your center of gravity from here hinge backwards at the hip bring yourself over the bar and create a neutral spine position set yourself and then start pushing into the ground push hard work past the knee and as the bar travels you will then extend the hip to finish in a tall position shoulders hips and heels aligned so you are strong through the core and through the glutes to complete the lift before you then complete the full sets and Reps so that deadlift strength set was five by four at 85 percent of your heaviest lift within the golf world programming you will see how those percentage lifts work over time based around different movements and different times of the year basically the stronger you are the greater you are potential for power output and then the greater your potential for speed output as well as increasing the durability and resilience of your body for a difficult movement like the golf swing once you've hit that set which is going to be five sets of four reps plenty of rest you're then going to go into what is a drop down set a high level ground reaction forces and acceleration so we're going to maintain a similar movement to the deadlift but bring the weight down and go with the kettlebell swing that's a hinge at the hip we're using the ground awesome performance we're going to match that with the box jump because whilst the legs and the full body are fully primed muscles active we add in speed and acceleration to absolutely jack up our performance guys all right so getting into that set movement number one is the Russian kettlebell swing okay so here you will take the Kettlebell and rest high at the thigh okay as you then hinge in the motion you'll push your hips back load the hamstrings load the glutes and make sure your feet are engaged against the ground once you hit that end range of motion you are going to extend the hip be aggressive create lots of force and bring the Kettlebell up to eye level before then returning the motion hinging and extending again be aggressive and be smooth with your movement number two the box jump is all about execution and how you use the ground so here set the box at the challenging height that you can execute well you will then Elevate first all right take your hands high stand and get tall in your movement pattern before you compress use your body weight against the ground to then accelerate and create vertical floss land as high on the box as possible raising your hips Landing solid with two feet before standing and then returning into your next rep so far in this workout you have improved your rotation and speed capacity you got stronger and more stable as well as more durable and now you've started to use the ground better and really accelerate when you move this is what really separates the workouts in golf Ward we want you to be your best on and off the course and that is what these workouts deliver guys right and we wouldn't be a golf wad without your workout of the day we're going to increase the intensity with a descending rep scheme to push you to hit your conditioning and to increase your work capacity very simple we've got two movements we're going into The Descendant rep scheme of 24 16 and 8 so you will complete 24 double dumbbell push press and then 24 calories that will be raw by kosky whatever you have available or change to a run which is in the description to execute the dumbbell push press take drop both dumbbells up to your shoulders bring the elbows up tall and engage the core for a solid spine position you will then dip at the knees to use the ground to create full body Force before you extend and then push and press overhead stay in a stable position keep the dumbbells close together do not let the arms flare out and then as you return the dumbbells to the shoulder dip again drive through the ground and repeat the repetition on the other side you have your cardio option so choose whichever machine you have access to or whichever machine is going to give you the greatest stimulus the rowing machine would be an awesome choice because of the push nature of the push press we can then go into the pull and the full body challenge of the row to execute well okay to do so make sure you use the legs first maintain a neutral spine and pull into the body as you complete your reps guys right in this aspect is for time so you are set in a clock you are trying to pass the golf One Challenge and in doing so you want the intensity to go high with excellent movement quality throughout all right so go ahead and go full send the high intensity workout completes a full body deer of golf performance training the challenge time was sub six minutes so use words that you can challenge yourself but move quickly and efficiently and then push yourself on the cardio side guys or make sure you comment make sure you let us know that you get it done in that time and this is how we program our workouts that are the best workouts in golf you get every aspect needed to make you the best you can be on and off the
