Three zero equipment exercises to help you build speed stability and ground reaction forces for your golf swing [Music] the roll of your legs in the golf swing now clearly they work together but they also have an individual job to do the trail leg what we're looking to do is load create stretch and a little bit of elevation going back as we create pressure against the ground load the hip and then allow the upper body to continue that stack system of rotation up and around you feel the Core Blood against the trail quad the glutes working that gives you stability power and the ability to create an awesome transition because from here the whole body's in stretch the left side of the body the lats everything's working so naturally we use that stretch reflex from the top we push from that trail leg that phase the glute that starts at the rotation down but also we pull from the lead sack so all of a sudden we've got that Push Pull we've got an awesome transition just from loading the trail leg the lead side towards the target needs to help that rotation going back first by creating that pressure down okay we don't go sideways don't go lateral the lead knee Works down that allows the trail hip to work up and get that back swing position we just talked about it also means that because we go down the natural reaction is going to be the opposite during impact we want to be able to push out of that lead side create that force that vertical extension through the lead side that also gives you that hip to turn around and that leads to an awesome impact position we just talked about our transition we load we turn as we transition down we work into the ground we get our weight back into that lead side we then push and extend that gives us all that freedom that snap speed to really release the club and get the whole body working as a system to execute the lateral bound we're going to use a golf club iron front just to help with our balance and then it's all about single leg stability you've got to use your upper body as you land to balance manage your center of gravity and then change direction okay so it's that pressure against the leg using the core and then against the ground that allows you to execute with speed and stability so use the feet use the upper body and then push against the ground for the box jump It's All About execution and the ability to accelerate out of the ground too often people get stuck on the toes and kind of stutter into a box jump what we want to see for full speed and ground reaction forces is that you elevate compress and then push out of both feet so you get full extension and full acceleration this means we're fully moving our Mass we're using all of our legs to create pressure and that is how you max out speed in the jump and then in your swing for the single leg rotational jump it's about torque and then reactionary forces around that foot positioning so as you work down it's similar to the lateral bound here we're going to create all the talk load the car against the trail leg and then really push and accelerate the fact that we then push and rotate 90 degrees is going to power up your swing so really do work down into the ground Spin and launch yourself across obviously the mechanics you need to be solid through the joints in your landing and all the way through the body but if you work up to this movement it can add serious power potential to every movement in your swing so we load down press and low and yes we always work both sides you're looking to create balance and symmetry through the body as you rotate and that is how you're going to get faster with zero equipment appreciate you watching today's video we are here to help all golfers improve their body so they can improve their game and feel better doing it all right so we appreciate the time make sure you hit like subscribe tell your friends go ahead and get the golf wide app and then we can all golf strong foreign
