[Music] what's up guys movement monday we're gonna go with a combination today because we're looking at vertical forces all right how you use those in the swing is gonna power it up and help get that whip into the ball so you're maxing out on distance all right so two movements we're gonna look at the vertical med ball slam and we're gonna combine that with the kettlebell sumo deadlift hypo all right so once you combine those two movements we're going up we're going down so we're leveraging the ground and then also creating the right sequence to really go full cent all right and you think about down into the ball obviously we've got lateral and rotational as well we focus on those a lot so vertical you think about getting to the top of the swing first of all we need to elevate we need to be able to engage the ground whilst elevating up and through so we've got the posterior chin we've got the footwork we've got our spine angle and once we get to that top position we bring it down and that's where we need to go next level guys all right so you think about it from the top of the swing we squat down as your mass travels down we can then work up out of the ground okay so working on your vertical forces is going to have a huge impact on your swing and it's going to help everything in the gym too alright guys so again think about how these movements really help number one that vertical med ball slam we elevate up so there is a lift element to it we have to use the ground use the footwork but mostly we're looking for that sequence on the way down and just like we do in the swing we're going to pull down with the hips first the lower body first we transfer through a strong core neutral spine and then it's all about going through the arms the hands and then finally the med ball okay and one big thing when you're executing the mid ball slam you gotta execute guys right go full send with intent okay and then once we get to the kettlebell assume our deadlift hypo we're managing our lower body and upper body mobility we're creating a really neutral spine and then we'll get a massive engagement of the glutes guys right the posterior chain big muscles the better we can fire those the better our golf swing is going to be okay we're going to use the ground better we're going to create more power and we are going to be super stable guys all right so an awesome combination for your game in terms of execution as we said before once you get to that mid ball slam we want to make sure that we elevate really try and get as high as possible pull those hips back that makes your chest come forwards and use that speed to lag the arms and then absolutely pound it into the ground guys again you should be going as hard as possible here all right in terms of weight to use we can go pretty heavy okay so make sure you lift snap down use a weight that allows you to create awesome movement but it's still challenging to the system okay for the sumo delivered title once you get into that setup position we're gonna have a really wide stance hence sumo and from there eyes up neutral spine we then push the ground extend the hip with everything that we've got and then you're going to pull that kettlebell up to your collarbones guys right so you get that extra range of motion from the deadlift with the extra speed okay once you combine these two up you're going to get some serious golf games because vertical forces get it done guys right so make sure you pair these up and if you want more golf games you know where to go guys right we got the best workouts in golf and today the app is live right a new golf ball out go check it out you can get trial and lifetime membership everything between golfers jumping on it already we can't wait for you all to see it guys right now make sure you subscribe to the channel head over there and hit up these two movements if you want to hit it further and golf strong [Music]
