Kettlebell CB Lunge

A loaded lunge variation that builds single-leg strength and control for a stable lower body in the swing.

lungebalance

Why it matters for golf

Single-leg strength is the base for weight shift and a stable lower body through the swing. Lunging under kettlebell load trains the hips and knees to accept and control force one side at a time.

Coaching cues

  • Step with intent and land soft.
  • Drop the back knee straight down, not forward.
  • Keep the chest tall and the trunk braced.
  • Drive through the front foot to stand.

Common faults

  • Front knee caving inward.
  • Torso pitching forward as the bell pulls you down.
<!-- VERIFY against video: "CB" is an unexpanded code; confirm the bell position and lunge style before adding specifics -->
