Broad Jump
publicThe Athleticism test in the DRVN Fitness Test — how well a golfer moves their own body, applies force into the ground, and accelerates through space. No external load, just the golfer and the ground. Athleticism sits between strength and speed: strength gives capacity, power expresses force, athleticism shows how well the body moves itself.
Measures: acceleration, lower-body coordination, force application relative to body size. Landing is the key: both feet together, balanced, no extra steps — distance without a stable landing doesn't count.
Scoring — distance as % of body height
| Score | Men / Women / Junior | Seniors |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 20% | 20% |
| 2 | 40% | 40% |
| 3 | 60% | 50% |
| 4 | 80% | 60% |
| 5 | 100% | 70% |
Senior distances are reduced for a targeted reduction in impact. Best clean jump is recorded.
