Why it matters for golf

Working into your upper body rotation with increased Core activation and balance elements with the kneeling position.

Working with the Pallof hold and Cable resistance will help with force creation and movement quality to enhance your Golf Swing.

How to perform

  1. Take a kneeling position with the Cable at Chest height.
  2. Set your posture by activating the Glutes and Core then take your Pallof Hold in front of the body.
  3. Perform a controlled rotation to the best range of motion possible, return to centre and repeat in the opposing direction.
  4. Maintain your posture and positioning throughout with focus and quality breathing mechanics increasing load over time as your rotational strength improves.

Alternatives

This is a great movement for all levels with the main options looking at working in your Golf Posture instead of the kneeling position.
