Why it matters for golf

When you can balance and stabilise through this movement your Golf Swing will improve. That is worth working for and as you improve all elements of your movement quality confidence and consistency builds with you.

How to perform

  1. Set a mid attachment and set yourself into a split stance facing the Machine.
  2. Take a Pallof hold and work into a Split Squat with your trail Knee lowering to the ground. During the Squat, rotate your Torso over your Lead Leg.
  3. Stabilise at the bottom of the movement before returning to your setup position by reversing the movement.
  4. Repeat as needed and always work both sides of the body.

Alternatives

This is a great movement with a Club you can do at the course, you can perform with Bands and you can also break this movement down into individual elements.
